The IDE connectors are at our preferred upper right edge of the motherboard, and the floppy connector is a board edge connector located on the right edge around the middle of the board. We complained about the pin blocks lanparyy our review of the DFI SLI, but after working with the card edge boards, they are no better than the pin blocks. The usual four IDE devices are supported.
The pin ATX is located on the preferred top right edge of the motherboard, and the 4-pin 12V power connector is right beside it. We tried both ATI and nVidia top-of-the line cards to make sure. Other motherboards have lanparfy as many USB ports overall but what good are they if they require a bracket which takes up a valuable expansion slot?

DFI LANParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert Motherboard Review –
Most motherboards require some sort of voltage modification for really extreme levels of overclocking, to enable either more CPU, memory or chipset voltage. SLI motherboards tend to draw a little more power than usual, and so there is an effective warning to that end on the main pin ATX power connector.
The tiny PCB’s are hard to align on the other boards and the holding mechanisms are not always easy to negotiate. This arrangement worked well in our testing and should work better for those who change memory frequently than in the crowded right-hand alternate location used on fn4 boards.
SATA connectors are to the right of the nF4 chipset and the magnetic levitation lanpagty.
An nothing says classy better than UV reactive yellow computer ports and slots. A single PCIe x1 and x4 slot are present the implementation of these is a little unusual, as we will see later. Traditionally brand-name capacitors that come from Japan are considered the best, and we’re pleased to report that the ones found on this motherboard are all Japanese made.
